Photo contest

We would like to invite you to an exhibition presenting the prize-winning works awarded in the photo competition “Poland in the European Union. Five years have passed”. The objective of the competition organised by the Office of the Committee for European Integration was to mark the fifth anniversary of Poland’s membership in the European Union. The competition was addressed to the students of the secondary fine arts schools. The participants’ objective was to present in the form of a photograph (black and white, colour or sepia) the way that the five years of Polish membership in the Common Europe influenced the life of the young generation of Poles.
The changes resulting from the five-year membership of Poland in the EU can be noticed by the students in every field of daily life: at school, surrounding, region and all over the country.
All prize winning and awarded photographs will be displayed also in the European Information Centre of the UKIE in Warsaw, 38/42 Krucza Street from May 8th 2009.
